After that my focus is to play at least 2 forest birds, preferably cheap ones that give me food or eggs. If bonus cards are difficult, I forgo those and focus on high point birds.

Wingspan already takes up a lot of space at 5 player, that it's really hard to see everything going on the table that can be relevant. I would like to play it 6 player, but having 2 birdfeeders, 2 decks, makes it sound like it would be an even bigger table hog, and knowing what's going on down the other end of the table virtually impossible.
